C'Tan Shard of the Void Dragon Sub Assemblies

Started and finished construction today, I really enjoyed the assembly, only section you need to pay attention in the instruction manual are the legs where the numbers have been mixed up. But as the legs are wildly different not to hard to make the correct build. The designers have really thought about get the visual of the model being lifted and being carried by the crackling energy that surrounds the body. For me this my favourite model that GW have brought out this year.

The first picture shows the first sub-assembly which is the winged veins and the main spine which ends in the blades.

The second sub-assembly is the base, this is where the model gets it's awesome floating effect. Keeping the body off this construction will allow me to get to all the energy pulses and pieces of terrain that has been pulled out of the ground.

Finally up is the third sub-assembly which is the main focus point of the model the C'tan itself. The model does come with 2 choices of heads, so I do have one left over for some future conversion. Really looking forward now that construction has been completed to get some paint onto the model.

Check in to see the progress.
