BloodBowl My Pre-Order
I was certain when the pre order window opened it was just going to be the second edition box set that was going in my cart. But as we all know stranger things have happened in that mad 5 minutes before the pre-orders go live.
By the time I have completed my cart it seems that all the new releases baring the 2 books are now sat snugly in my pre-order. Oh well never mind looks like going to have a fun unboxing when it all arrives.
With a 2 week pre-order window this gives me 2 weeks to get the Halfing team painted and ready for the pitch.
Fairly certain I have my colour scheme sorted in my head, now just time to get the team name and background worked on.
Really looking to this week on Warhammer Community and the reveals that they will be showing this week.
It is going to be hard on which team I am going to paint first. Orcs, Humans or the new Undead,
Catch up later in the week when I should be showing off the new team strip for the Halflings.

Warhammer 40,000 Codex Road Map
In October of this year GW announced the road map for the first few month's of releases of Codex's, a whopping 8 codex's or should it be codices? by the end of January.
The Necron and Space Marine codex are already on the shelves and this weekend both the Space Wolves and Deathwatch Codex supplements will be in the hands of hobbyists already. I have both the Necron and Space Marine Codices already and have been making lists and notes on my thoughts on the latest editions. Another post for the future. I am really looking for to December when the Blood Angels Supplement is released, this has been an army that has long sat on the back burner. Alongside the Blood Angels comes the Death Guard, I am not expecting anything new for either of these codices apart from both of them receiving a Combat Patrol box. GW have already shot their bolt releases the Death Guard special models this weekend. Kinda thought would have tied in the Codex release?
Then in January we have an unnamed Xenos codex and highly rumoured to be a Dark Angels Codex. I am fairly certain that the Xenos codex will not be a new race as the community pages would have hinted and shown previews long before now. So I am going to hedge my bets that it will be Tyranids the galaxies great foe.
What are your guesses to the January Xenos Codex?

C'Tan Shard of the Void Dragon Sub Assemblies
Started and finished construction today, I really enjoyed the assembly, only section you need to pay attention in the instruction manual are the legs where the numbers have been mixed up. But as the legs are wildly different not to hard to make the correct build. The designers have really thought about get the visual of the model being lifted and being carried by the crackling energy that surrounds the body. For me this my favourite model that GW have brought out this year.
The first picture shows the first sub-assembly which is the winged veins and the main spine which ends in the blades.
The second sub-assembly is the base, this is where the model gets it's awesome floating effect. Keeping the body off this construction will allow me to get to all the energy pulses and pieces of terrain that has been pulled out of the ground.
Finally up is the third sub-assembly which is the main focus point of the model the C'tan itself. The model does come with 2 choices of heads, so I do have one left over for some future conversion. Really looking forward now that construction has been completed to get some paint onto the model.
Check in to see the progress.

C'Tan Shard of the Void Dragon Unboxing
Like many of you out there I have been caught by the Necron bug. Gw's recent releases for this army have been nothing short of stunning,
I have been working my way through the Elite box as I sadly missed out on Idomitus box set. More pics of those to follow. So pre-wave 2 Lockdown I treated myself to the C;tan Shard of the Void Dragon.
Until I pluck up the courage to pick up the Silent King this will be the centre piece of my army and certainly will be pushing my painting skills.
As you can see by the sprue shots there are some very fine details on this model and I will be building this in sub assemblies and painting before the final assembly.
Check back in when I will have completed the sub assemblies.

Bloodbowl Halfling Team
Evening Sports Fans,
With BloodBowl Season 2 coming out later this month its time for a team to celebrate the new edition.
Been a big fan of Halflings for a long time and one of my favourite star players of all time Puggy Baconbreath starting with the Blue Bay Crammers before making his name with the Greenfield Grasshuggers.
Drafting my team to be ready in time for the release of the new game. I picked up a the box set from GW last week and set about building up the box set.
In the box you get 2 each of the player sprue and one of team item sprue. I love that the special balls are pasties very thematic for the team.
Box set is completed and gives you 2 Catchers, 2 Hefties and 8 Hopefuls, unfortunately the Spike Magazine had sold out so hopefully the new edition will have some more detailed rules for this stuntie team.
I have scoured the bars and eateries and have located Puggy Baconbreath face down in a plate of his favourite pie and mash. Having paid off his large bar bill and offered a retaining fee he is currently on route the training ground.
Working with the designers on the new team strip which I hope to unveil shortly.
Tune in to see the team taking shape
